We're getting close to baby's due date, so my hospital bag is packed and ready to go! There are a few items I'll have to throw in at the last minute, but for the most part, it's done.
Here's what I packed...
Stuff for me:
Comfy pj's/clothes, a robe, some socks, nursing bras.
Bag of toiletry items.
Deodorant, anti-bacterial hand gel, foundation, hand lotion, facial moisturizer, makeup wipes.
Toothbrush and toothpaste.
Blush, mascara, lip balm, concealer (I know...you think I'm crazy for packing this stuff, right?!). Maybe I won't use it, but I think I'll feel much better having it on hand. A little makeup will probably go a long way after hours of labor!
Hair elastics, cotton balls, q-tips.
Snacks and Tic-Tacs.
Stuff for baby:
Socks, newborn mittens, blankets, "Just Born" sticker for pictures, pacifiers (I may not use these, but I've heard they are nice to have with you just in case).
A couple of plain, white onesies.
A few going home outfits (because I can't decide!).
This one is just in case it's really chilly that day (but the way the weather has been here lately, it probably won't be!).
CBR Newborn Stem Cell Collection Kit.
That's pretty much it!
There are a few other things I'll toss in on the big day like:
Cell phone & charger
Camera & charger
Shampoo & conditioner
Body wash
The great thing is that if we forget anything, we're only 5 minutes away from the hospital, so Josh could easily go home and grab it.
For my readers that are moms....what was in your hospital bag? If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!
