The nursery

I'm so excited to finally share our baby girl's nursery with you! I had been waiting all this time for our glider to be delivered from Pottery Barn Kids. It was originally on backorder until after my due date, but luckily it arrived last Friday instead!

The newest addition to the nursery is this beautiful quilt made by my friends Mary and Amanda. How adorable is it?!

Eventually, I'll add these pictures to the "Tour my nest" page, where I'll share paint colors and a source list for everything you see in the room. To see how I gave the dresser and armoire a makeover, click here.

*Update* I now have a full source list for everything you see in the nursery here. Just scroll all the way to the bottom!

Well, that's it for now! I hope you enjoyed this little nursery tour!

  16. I love this! I'm also working on a light pink and grey nursery, so thanks for the inspiration. I'm interested to hear where you bought your crib bedding as I've been looking for the same colors. Thanks for sharing.

  17. Thanks Erin! Have fun decorating your nursery! I'll have a full source list up soon, but I actually didn't buy a bedding set. The sheet and bumper are from Babies R Us, the blanket was a gift and I made the crib skirt:)

  23. What a cute room, fabulous job! I just found your blog through the Nest remodeling board. I'm also a newish SAHM (to a 7 month old girl) in northern VA. I think I see a Sleep Sheep in the closet... we LOVE the Sleep Sheep in our house!! One thing you might want to consider is having some sort of surface next to the glider where you can put down a glass of water, bottle (if ever applicable), glasses, whatever. It's nice to have a small landing zone for stuff when you're in the glider with your hands full. You can probably just create some extra space on your chest of drawers? Just something to think about. Best wishes! Alison (aliwooly31@yahoo.com)

  26. Hey Alison! Thanks for the tip! I was also thinking I'd like to get something like a small table for next to my glider. I'll have to keep my eyes open for something small enough to fit that space!

And yes, that's definitely a Sleep Sheep...so cute! I can't wait to use it:)

    Congrats on your little one!
