What I wore: Amanda's bachelorette party

Hi everyone and happy weekend! We have our friends Andrea and Bryan visiting with us for the next week and we are already having so much fun!

I'm just now getting around to showing you what I wore for my friend Amanda's bachelorette party, which was last weekend. Once again, I rented a dress from Rent the Runway. You can read about my first rental experience here. I just really love the whole process with's so convenient and there are so many gorgeous designer dresses to choose from. The best part is that many of the rental fees are less than what you would pay to purchase a new dress.

The rental fee for this dress was $65, but I  had several credits and coupon codes to use, so I only paid $19!

Sorry these pictures aren't very clear. I was in a hurry to finish setting up the party, so I didn't set up my tripod like I normally do! This is the Nicole Miller Noir Lace Cocktail Dress and I loved wearing it! I rented the size 0 and size 2, and ended up wearing the 2. The 0 was just a little tight, especially in the chest. It would have been ok had I not had the size 2 as a back up, but overall, I felt more comfortable in the size 2.

I wore Kelsi Dagger platform pumps, gold and rhinestone dangle earrings, and This bangle set from InPink. I actually won an InPink gift card in a giveaway from The Dapper Bun, so thank you, Mary Ann!

My purse was just a simple, faux-croc clutch from Macy's. You can see that, and my earrings a little better in this pic I took with my iPhone.

I can't wait to use Rent the Runway again! If you'd like to sign up, feel free to use my referral link.

I hope you all have a great weekend! We are planning on going to DC today, and later, a puppy store to get some treats for Miche's 9th birthday! (Miche is Andrea and Bryan's puppy...isn't she the cutest?!).

See you guys soon! I'll have the pictures up from Amanda's party as soon as I can!

  1. The dress looks fabulous, Rachel, and I love the bracelets you chose from InPink! I'm expecting a few new pieces from them soon, so I can't wait! ;-)
